| HM Government Adult single fare cap update |
| Most operators are taking part in the Government's capped Adult single fare scheme. The maximum Adult single fare is £2 on most local bus services until 31st December 2024. School and college buses, coach services (including Falcon, Oxford Tube and airport services), Sightseeing Tours and Night Buses are excluded. |
| Road Closure – Helston Flora 8 May 2024 |
Due to Helston Flora there will be a number of road closures in Helston on the 8 May and bus services will be operating under diversion. Go-Cornwall Buses: Services 34, 36, 38 and 39 will not serve Monument Road, Coinagehall Street, Wendron Street, Godolphin Road, Trengrouse Way and Meneage Street. Services will be held at Helston Tesco. Services 34 and 36 will be diverted via Tesco towards Flambards into Clodgey Lane in both directions. Services 38 and 39 will be diverted from Furry Way towards Sainsburys and then to Tesco. Towards Camborne services will be diverted via Clodgey Lane, Furry Way and St Johns Close. Service 37/37A will not operate. First Buses: Service U4 From Penzance will operate to Gibson Way in Porthleven, turn and then back through to Porthleven to the A394 Helston, then Furry Way to Sainsburys and Tesco where it will resume its normal route. From Falmouth the reverse will operate. |
